Details

The Limelight Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata) is a proven garden performer that has earned its reputation as one of the most reliable shrubs for four-season color. It opens with unique green blooms, transitions to crisp white in late summer, and finishes with pink and red tones in autumn — all from the same plant, offering months of dynamic color change with minimal effort.

Material: Main body is a live Hydrangea shrub with strong, upright woody stems and dense green foliage that provides a clean, attractive backdrop for the spectacular blooms. Auxiliary includes nutrient-rich nursery potting soil for healthy root development. Accessories include a nursery container and detailed planting instructions for successful establishment.

Size: Mature height and spread 1800-2400mm; shipping height approximately 300-600mm.

Color: Flowers: green → white → pink → purple → red; Foliage: green.

Age Group: Adults.

Gender: Unisex.

Additional Features: Hardy to USDA Zone 3, thrives in full sun to partial shade; flowers are excellent for fresh cut arrangements and dried floral crafts with long vase life; drought-tolerant once established, requiring minimal watering; large blooms on sturdy stems that do not flop or bend; ideal for privacy screens, hedges, or garden focal points; popular choice for wedding and interior decor; low-maintenance shrub, perfect for beginner and experienced gardeners alike.

Care Instructions: Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply once or twice a week during the first growing season; established shrubs are moderately drought tolerant. Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth emerges — cut stems back by one-third to encourage strong blooms on new wood. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Deadhead spent blooms or leave them for winter interest.
