Details

The Arborvitae from the Full Speed A Hedge series grows 3658-4572mm tall while staying only 610-914mm wide — the ideal solution for narrow side yards, property lines, and tight landscape spaces where traditional hedges will not fit. This premium evergreen provides year-round privacy and green structure with minimal space requirements.

Material: Main body is a live Thuja occidentalis specimen with dense, green foliage that holds its color year-round, even through harsh Zone 3 winters. Auxiliary includes nutrient-rich nursery potting soil and a robust, well-established root ball system. Accessories include a biodegradable planting pot and detailed care guide for optimal growth.

Size: Mature height 3658-4572mm, crown width only 610-914mm; annual growth rate approximately 610-914mm, providing quick results for privacy screening needs.

Color: Foliage: green year-round.

Age Group: Adults.

Gender: Unisex.

Additional Features: Hardy to USDA Zone 3, tolerates clay soil, urban pollution, heavy snow loads, and deer browsing; narrow columnar form grows naturally without pruning to maintain its elegant shape; ideal for planting along walls, driveways, or between buildings to create private outdoor retreats; also suitable for container growing or as a vertical accent element in formal landscape designs; excellent sound-dampening properties make it a great choice for noise buffer zones near busy streets or highways.

Care Instructions: Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Water thoroughly at planting and once or twice a week for the first growing season. Once established, water during extended dry periods. No regular pruning is needed to maintain its natural columnar shape — trim lightly in early spring if shaping is desired. Avoid cutting into old brown wood, as it will not regenerate. Mulch around the base to retain moisture.
